Students complete core communication subjects throughout their degree, which focus on the laws, ethics, politics and history surrounding communications. As part of the core subjects, students will also work on a communications practice project, allowing students from all streams of the Communications degree to work together on a practical assignment. The Writing and Cultural Studies major subjects will focus on the culture and theory of writing, as students get the chance to experiment and practice ways of writing which can be developed through a range of media. Students will learn crucial communicative skills, enabling them to apply theoretical and practical skills to a range of professions upon graduation.
